Cafe and brunch culture has been hit hard with the restrictions. We can’t spend our weekends chilling at our favourite cafes or meeting up with friends for brunch at the moment, but the good thing is that we can still enjoy all the same breakfast and brunch foods – as takeaway!
Here’s 6 of Brisbane’s top spots for picking up takeaway breakfast.
1. Denim Co – South Bank
Denim Co in South Bank is serving up delicious and satisfying options for breakfast. They are open from 6:15am daily, with menu items like Acai Bowl, Canadian Waffles, Green Eggs, and even Breakfast Packs, with a selection of pastries and juices.
Denim Co is open 7 days, Monday to Thursday: 6:15am – 2pm, Friday to Sunday: 6:15am – 8pm.

2. Naim Cafe – Paddington
Paddington locals will be familiar with the ever popular Naim Cafe. Their contemporary Middle Eastern approach to breakfast and brunch has created a delicious, flavoursome menu for those who aren’t content with another boring fry up. Items like Stuffed Israeli Pita, Braised Lamb Toastie, and Waffles with honey rosewater caramel, strawberry suman ice cream and baklava crumble are standouts.
Naim Cafe is open for takeaway Monday to Saturday: 8am – 2pm, as well as Thursday to Saturday: 5pm – 7pm.

3. Billy Kart – West End & Annerley
Owned by celebrity chef Ben O’Donoghue, Billy Kart conveniently has two locations (Annerley and West End) and is serving up their signature breakfast menus to locals. At both you will find mouthwatering menu options like House made crumpets, Corn fritters, and Ricotta pancakes.

4. A Mano Cafe – Annerley
A Mano Cafe is a small, family-run café serving Di Bella Coffee, Italian Sweets, and a range of breakfast and lunch options, and they should definitely be next on your breakfast adventure. Homemade cannoli and Sfogliatelle, as well as savoury options like scrambled egg burritos, are menu highlights. Even if you go in for a savoury breakfast, we guarantee you’ll walk out with a Italian sweet treat as well.
A Mano Cafe is open for takeaway Monday to Friday: 5.30am – 2pm and Saturday & Sunday:
6.30am – 2pm.
5. Florence Cafe – Camp Hill
Not only do Florence Cafe offer a delicious and nourishing menu of breakfast and lunch items, but they also stock staples and pantry supplies. They’re like the perfect one-stop-shop! They post their daily specials and new menu items regularly on Instagram, with breakfasts on offer like Sobrasada salami, guindilla pickles, spinach and manchego toasties and Dosa served with aloo masala, fried egg and coriander chutney.
Florence Cafe is open for takeaway Monday to Friday: 6am – 2pm and weekends: 7am – 2pm.

6. Lokal + Co – West End
Lokal + Co are doing breakfast right, with a mixture of classic and lavish menu options. From Brioche breakfast rolls and Pork Belly breakfast burger to Panna cotta with granola or banana dumplings, there’s something to tempt sweet and savoury eaters. If you’re feeling thirsty, you can also grab a smoothie or ‘Morning Cocktail’ (hello Bloody Mary!).
Lokal + Co are open for morning takeaway daily from 6am – 11:30am.
